Join critically acclaimed writer Hadani Ditmars, as she reads from her books 'Dancing in the No-Fly Zone' and 'Between Two Rivers'- and explores how IRAQ's Mesopotamian, Jewish, Muslim and Christian architectural and intangible heritage can act as a vehicle for peace and belonging.
The event will be introduced by Canon Peter Babington Priest-in-Charge of St Mary le Strand.
Readings will then be interspersed with sung poetry in Spanish, Arabic and English, celebrating tangible and intangible cultural heritage, featuring Hadani on voice and guitar and Ehsan El-Emam on oud. (see:youtube.com/watch?v=qRH6TWKHzxw).
