Artificial intelligence is no longer an emerging tool but an active force reshaping how the built environment is conceived, authored, and delivered—often without enough critical scrutiny. This workshop responds directly by combining live AI prototyping with participant-led design challenges, where attendees generate, test, and refine spatial proposals in real time.

We invite students, designers and anyone interested in the built environment to this workshop and explore how new technologies are changing the way we design and think about space. Rather than passively learning tools, participants uncover how bias, authorship, and creative agency operate within them. The session leads to collaboratively developed design principles that explore how AI can support more inclusive, community-led practices – fostering shared ownership, amplifying underrepresented voices, and shaping environments where belonging is actively designed. No prior experience is needed.
