From Edgware Road where the largest aircraft manufacturing in the world once stood and later Oriental City and now Bang Bang Oriental Food Hall to a mile away straight up Colindale Avenue to the RAF Museum, this walking tour will examine history of Colindale and its people.
Colindale has change greatly over the past 125 years. It is one of the fastest, emerging new London suburb, but this brings many challenges. Numerous residential complexes replaced large institutions and brownfield sites. Come hear what the new residents are doing to build their community and establish their sense of belonging in Colindale.

Meeting outside of Bang Bang Oriental Hall. Free 3-hour parking available for in garage of Bang Bang. Toilets including access toilets available inside Bang Bang on 1st Floor.

This is a step-free 1.2-mile walking tour that includes a slight uphill portion. We do not enter any buildings with all stops outside. However, there are numerous places for individuals to stop along the route if required. Free parking is available at starting point for up to 3-hours. Paid parking is also available at the end of the walk at the RAF Museum. Toilet including access toilets available at both starting point and end point.
