Grassroots organisations across London play a vital role in building trust, supporting communities and creating spaces where people feel they belong. Yet conversations about cities are often shaped without these voices. This event brings together community practitioners and cultural voices to explore how grassroots networks strengthen neighbourhood life and social resilience. Drawing on experience working with more than 100 community organisations across the UK, the discussion will explore how institutions, planners and cultural organisations can collaborate more meaningfully with communities and move beyond consultation towards genuine partnerships that empower communities to shape the places they live. Confirmed speakers include: Jahid Ahmed, Rozina Iqbal, Yusuf Javaid & Shahed Saleem.
