The walls of Metamorphika hold traces of what came before: a ruin, a print shop, a space in-between. This edition takes this palimpsest condition as its starting point, moving from the gallery scale outward into Hackney, where belonging, heritage, and gentrification are negotiated in real time.
Two roundtable conversations, at 4pm and 6pm, unfold within a spatial installation that extends the questions raised. The bar will be open throughout. Come early, stay late.
With Edward Hollis, Nina Jang, Colin Priest, Don Travis, Cynthia Gilbert, Simon Ballester, and Katmovser.
Curated and moderated by Milica Božić and Bella Barkett.
