This event explores how an architecture school can belong meaningfully to its local people and place. Through a live project and panel discussion, it examines experiential learning as a way for students and educators to engage directly with nearby communities through design and making.

The event positions the school as a form of situated and durational practice - an active, accessible resource for its neighbourhood, sharing skills, knowledge, and space. Guest speakers and community partners will discuss how architecture schools can operate not only as academic institutions but also as civic participants grounded in their immediate context.
