Starting with a brief overview of Italian migration to London, there will also be the chance to indulge in a true Italian experience by trying the coffee at one of the most famous institutions in Soho, Bar Italia. The tour then moves to another institution founded by Peppino Leoni, Quo Vadis and takes in Lina Stores on Brewer Street to talk about the history of the famous delicatessan. At Bocca di Lupo and Gelupo, there will be an opportunity to try the delicious gelato as well as hearing about this celebrated Soho eatery. There will then be a 10 minute walk via Old Compton St (passing former sites including I Camisa & Son and Amalfi) towards Central Saint Giles to discuss the work of Italian architect Renzo Piano. Another short walk leads to the beautiful urban set-piece Sicilian Avenue, before heading down Theobalds Road to Terroni's of Clerkenwell, Casa Italiana and St Peter's Italian Church.
