Stretching from Bankside to Bermondsey, the mighty Victorian arches do more than carry trains — they shape the streets, businesses and communities that thrive around them.
Beneath the arches, former industrial spaces now host independent traders, creative studios, cultural venues and community initiatives — places built on local energy, enterprise and care. Together, they form a route that reflects collective identity and shared ownership.
Along the 3km walk, Low Line project partners guide you through the area, sharing how local interventions are rooted in hyper-local stories and everyday experience.

We will be walking along 3 kilometres of pavement and there will be steps up and down kerbs, and also road crossing. Health and safety will be observed at all time and the guide will be vigilant about the groups safety however, participants need to also take care of their own health and safety.
