This multimedia exhibition will celebrate the importance of pubs as third spaces in urban areas, exploring the theme of belonging in relation to connection, safety, friendship, and identity. Artwork will be embedded into the existing interiors of the pub, with all contributions by the pub's regulars, including photography, poetry, drawing, historic maps, and more.
There will also be two workshops, led by local creatives, where visitors can create their own contributions to the exhibition:
-Drawing Workshop: Sunday 14 June, 13:00-15:00
-Poetry Workshop: Tuesday 23 June, 19:00-21:00 *CANCELLED: Due to the hot weather warnings issued by the Met Office for this week, we have made the decision to cancel the poetry workshop planned for the evening of Tuesday 23 June. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope that everyone stays cool and, most importantly, safe. *
