Every day, millions of journeys pulse through London’s bus network — a vital part of how the city moves. This exhibition explores how Transport for London is reimagining the bus shelter.
Bus shelters belong to London’s shared landscape. Familiar, functional, and used by millions, they belong to the people who rely on them.
Through new materials and design innovation, we’re exploring what these everyday structures can become and the communities they foster.
Guided by inclusive, human‑centred design, our vision is simple: shelters that are safer, more welcoming, and better connected to the needs of Londoners.

There are two ways of entering the London Centre: either up 3 steps with a handrail on either side, or via a platform lift. There are gender-neutral and accessible toilets on the lower ground floor, which can be accessed via a flight of stairs or lift.
