Alchemy delves into ancient alchemic themes reimagined as experiences. The work explores belonging as something formed through connection, movement, and shared presence. The installation responds to visitors’ bodies, voices, and actions, transforming reflection and sound as people move through the space. Positioned beneath the museum’s dome, its circular form invites visitors to experience themselves as both individual and collective.
The installation forms part of the museum's LFA programme of activities including architectural walking tours and talks and events themed around belonging, alchemy and the layered histories of the wider City.
