London's spaces can often feel exclusive, leaving local communities unable to access or shape them.
For Howells' 2026 Open Studio, we will explore how the design of public space can foster a genuine sense of belonging across London. As part of our display, we'll discuss how thoughtful spatial transformation can unlock new possibilities, and how Howells' Eden Dock is helping to transform Canary Wharf from a business district into a mixed-use neighbourhood by creating a welcoming public realm, activating the water's edge, and delivering transformative biodiversity uplifts.
