Join architects Howells and landscape architects Spacehub for a walking tour exploring the relationship between a completed neighbourhood and a future one.
Beginning at London City Island and moving through Canning Town, the tour will examine the successes - and lessons - of a recently built neighbourhood before introducing proposals for the nearby Limmo Peninsula. The design team will discuss emerging plans for the site’s future development, including a new 2-hectare park, and how proposals aim to support a strong sense of belonging for future residents.
Participants are invited to share observations & questions, helping inform the ongoing design process.

The tour covers a lot of ground - with stairs included at various points.
Outdoor walk - there are two points at which lifts are available as an alternative to steps access. Unsteady pathways on part of the route. Toilets are available towards the end of the tour at City Island.
