Join a guided walk exploring perceptions of safety in and around Canning Town and the proposed neighbourhood at Limmo Peninsula.
Moving through busy routes, quieter edges and the currently isolated development site, participants will reflect on how design, lighting, movement and visibility influence how safe places feel, and how these factors shape a sense of belonging in the city.
The walk will invite discussion on what works well, where challenges exist, and what interventions could improve experiences of safety now and in the future. Insights gathered will inform emerging proposals for the new neighbourhood ahead of a planning submission.

Outdoor walk - there are two points at which lifts are available as an alternative to steps access. Unsteady pathways on part of the route. Toilets are available towards the end of the tour at City Island.
