For the first time, we’re pleased to share publicly the full LFA2025 report, highlighting the impact of the festival across London and further afield.
This year was an incredibly successful instalment of LFA. Under the theme of #Voices, we engaged over 750,000 people through our programme of 470 events in 24 London boroughs, highlighting LFA as a truly city-wide celebration of London’s places and voices. We engaged areas from riversides to high streets, estates to cultural districts. LFA2052 achieved:
- 470 events in 24 London boroughs
- 117 events in outer London boroughs
- 96% events were organised by Londoners
- 270+ individuals and organisations supported, through 13 local briefing sessions
Further to this, we broadened participation across the industry, opening the Festival to new voices, fresh perspectives, and wider communities. With so many first-time organisers and new audiences from beyond the built environment, the Festival reflected an ever more diverse and dynamic London:
- 51% of organisers were first-time organisers
- 35% of organisers were from outside the built environment
- 76% of attendees from beyond the sector
Accessibility and inclusivity remained at the heart of LFA2025, with mentoring, workshops, and interpreted events ensuring that more people than ever could take part in shaping the Festival and sharing their voices:
- 100+ organisers supported through mentoring and workshops
- Workshops were the most common event type
- 12 BSL interpreted events
