How can we “belong” in a place that has only existed for a decade? When I moved to Battersea Nine Elms in 2017, I felt alienated amongst shiny empty buildings and construction sites. So I set about connecting to my new neighbourhood by walking, talking and collecting stories. Join me on a guided walk as I share these stories of people, housing, art and architecture. We will also talk about the history and politics of the area that pre-dates its current incarnation. This tour is for everyone interested in belonging in Battersea!

This is an outdoor activity. Where possible, we try to avoid steps and access public toilets. The walk is at a leisurely pace and there are some opportunities to sit along the way.
