Explore Westminster through the lens of public memory, where monuments to imperial power stand alongside symbols of decolonisation.
As we move through statues, streets and civic space, we ask how postcolonial Britain makes room for different histories in its political heart. The walk helps audiences understand why belonging in London has been historically uneven, and how collective acts of looking, questioning and sharing stories can begin to redress that imbalance.
This walk is part of a three-part series that explores how imperial power shaped London. By sharing these stories, we will map the global majority back into the city.

This is an outdoor activity. Where possible, we try to avoid steps and access public toilets. The walks themselves are at a leisurely pace and there are some opportunities to sit along the way.
