Alongside the Belonging(s) Beyond Borders exhibition, participants will be invited to take part in a hands-on workshop in traditional Palestinian tatreez embroidery with Studio Ruh.

As part of the Belonging(s) Beyond Borders LFA programme, Studio Ruh will host a tatreez session in collaboration with the Palestine Collective.
The session begins with a short presentation exploring the history and cultural significance of traditional Palestinian tatreez. This is followed by a simple tutorial introducing cross-stitch techniques and the process of creating embroidered charms.
Participants are then guided in making their own unique pieces, which they can take home and wear as symbols of solidarity and unity for the Palestinian people.
