C.R.E.W. is a street art crew where young people explore belonging through workshops and collective mural-making. Participants will be introduced to graffiti culture, lettering, and the role of street art in shaping urban identity. Working alongside artists, they will contribute to a set of shared murals that reflect their voices, experiences, and relationship with the city. The project reimagines public walls as platforms for expression, ownership, and community, allowing the youth to reclaim space and leave a visible mark on the urban landscape.
Launch Event
Sunday 14 June
The launch event marks the completion of the C.R.E.W. mural at Ealing Road Bridge, created as part of the London Festival of Architecture. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to observe the artists at work as the final layers of the mural come together, offering a glimpse into the process behind large-scale street art. The event celebrates the addition of a new artwork to Brent’s urban landscape, transforming a familiar piece of infrastructure into a vibrant expression of identity, creativity, and community. As the mural reaches completion, the launch allows the public to gather, reflect, and celebrate a new visual landmark within the borough.
