Crossing the threshold invites Londoners to share where they feel you belong — and where you don’t. Through a public call-out, a mapped wall of pinned quotes, and 20 second voice/video stories, we ask: When do you feel this is your city? What welcomes you in, and what pushes you out?
Focusing on everyday thresholds and the edges of commercial and office spaces — The exhibition gathers lived experiences to explore how design can open places up and make boundaries kinder. We are inviting you to contribute a place that matters, a feeling it evokes, and one change you'd make.

Assistance dogs are welcome. There are two possible entrances to the installation. Entrance 1 has two steps and no handrail. Entrance 2 has three steps and a handrail. An assisted ramp is available for wheelchair users; please ask a member of staff if you require assistance.
