A community workshop at LSBU featuring hands‑on regenerative building, talks, and circular design activities in our campus garden.

A one‑day regenerative building workshop hosted in a community garden on LSBU’s Southwark campus, bringing together local residents and visitors through hands‑on sustainable construction activities. The event will include rammed earth demonstrations, small‑scale building with reclaimed materials, and creative making using found objects, supported by informal talks on circular economy and low‑carbon design.
Responding to the London Festival of Architecture theme Belonging, the workshop re‑centres materials that are local, reused, or personal, fostering care, emotional durability, and long‑term stewardship while strengthening connections between the university, its neighbourhood, and shared material environments.

The workshop will take place in the community garden and open space behind the main library hub on the LSBU Southwark campus. A welcome point can be arranged outside the LSBU Library Hub.
