Join our design-led workshop exploring themes of belonging, connection and domesticity in the heart of UK's largest social housing estate: Becontree Estate. Through creative activities, participants are invited to reflect on what belonging means to them in an area where more than 50% of residents were born outside the UK.
The event takes place at The White House, a space for art, architecture and social activity in Dagenham. Transformed in 2016 by Apparata, the unique domestic space brings diverse communities together to form mutual understanding across different cultures through creativity. The event is open to all, particularly suited to families.
