This workshop is an object-led journey guided by pocket parks in the City of London. We will search for interesting, curious, or unusual objects and examine how they sit within our environment on a short walk. We gather after with a short talk and a series of guided and exploratory writing exercises.
Through writing and making, we will collectively and individually engage with different or alternate ways we can understand, make sense of, and belong to the city. This workshop is open to anyone with an interest in the built environment, writing, walking, observing — or all of the above.

Our meeting point is at the St Dunstan in the East Church garden, where we will commence our 30-minute walk. We will meet at 2pm for a relaxed start at approximately 2:10pm-2:15pm. The sitting-down portion of the workshop will be held at Artizan Street Library, in their Multi Room (Ground floor). We will make our way there together as a group after the 30-minute walk.

There will be a short 10-minute talk at the library before we commence the workshop.
