Working in a heritage trade, being part of a maker community, can be extremely rewarding. As well as gaining transferrable, sought-after skills, you become part of traditions that have existed for thousands of years.
Festival goers are invited to get up close and personal to heritage crafts. First, there will be a chance to watch and learn about lead bossing, a traditional skilled technique of shaping sheet lead for roofing. In the second half of the afternoon, all ticket holders will be invited to have a go at decorative cornice repairs and moulding techniques.

Please come to the East Court to register for the event. Ticket holders will be directed to the exact location. There is ramped access into and out of the East Court and the demonstration and activity will be taking place in the East Car Park - there are no steps required to get to the location of the demonstration and activity. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided for the activity.
