Come discover the history of this close-knit community located in the heart of Haringey.
This 45-minute tour will take visitors on a journey though the 158-year history of the Campsbourne Estate from commercial ventures capitalising on the growing population of ‘Healthy Hornsey’ to notorious slums, waves of council housing spanning labourers’ cottages, ‘garden-city landscaping’, a brutalist tower in the style of le Corbusier and family housing from the 1990s.
Incorporating stories from the archives, oral histories and anecdotes from the resident tour guides, this walk will reveal the multiple faces of Campsbourne Estate and the commonalities that bind them together.

Come into the Kurdish Advice Centre. Tour 1 starts at 11am until 11:45am. Tour 2 starts at 12pm until 12:45pm.
