London is a city shaped by contradiction: celebrating difference while simultaneously resisting it. For many, belonging emerges by embracing this tension - holding multiple places, cultures, and identities at once. Through photography and drawings of three contemporary homes, Colliding Contexts explores how mediating heritage, history, and landscape can create new forms of belonging.

Hosted in Wadhal’s studio space within High Street House, the exhibition invites anyone interested in exploring identity and place through personal and architectural narratives.

Exhibition Launch – A talk by Fahad Malik: Friday 12 June, 18:00-21:00

Join Wadhal and Noiascape for the launch of Colliding Contexts, an exhibition exploring belonging through personal and architectural narratives.

The launch will feature a 7pm talk by Fahad Malik, founder of Wadhal, reflecting on his journey from Islamabad to London, and establishing a practice in the city that has become home.

Colliding Contexts is hosted at High Street House, a co-living space developed by Noiascape that Fahad originally worked on as an architect, and now lives in. Through three architectural case studies, the exhibition examines how architecture can mediate contradictions to create something new.
