Explore architectural plans, blueprints, drafts, and photographs that reveal how London’s skyline has been shaped.
This informal, hands-on display brings together material from The London Archives and the RIBA Library, inviting visitors to engage at their own pace with staff on hand to guide discussion. Responding to the theme of Belonging, the event examines who has shaped the city and how its spaces include or exclude communities.
Designed for a broad audience, it offers rare access to original material while encouraging reflection on identity, access, and representation in the built environment, and fostering public engagement with London’s architectural history.

Visitors should be aware that access to the space may involve standard width doorways and staff will be available to offer guidance if needed. There is lift access to both the mezzanine floor where the Visitors’ Lounge is located and the first floor where the event is taking place, The accessible toilets are on the 1st floor.
