Tuesday 30 June
On 30 June, 6.30 pm – 8 pm: the project will launch with a public talk titled 'How Do We Measure Emotion in Media Architectures?'. It will introduce biosignals as design input for wellbeing-oriented spaces.
On 3 and 4 July, the HeartbeatSpace prototype at the foyer window invites you to reflect on what you feel between Fyvie Hall and Regent Street.

Speaker and designer of the protoype: Busra Berber
Architectural Designer, MA, BArch PhD Candidate & Teaching Assistant The Bartlett, UCL The Bartlett School of Architecture University College London , Busra is an architect and PhD researcher in Media Architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Currently, she also has a teaching assistant role in the design studio at Bartlett. With a distinction in Architecture and Urbanism MA from the University of Manchester, she has experience in architectural design and research in the UK since 2017. Her research focuses on the interaction between physical and digital media spaces in galleries. She explores how this dynamic relationship transforms our experiences, emphasizing the role of emotions in affective features of architectural spaces.
