Guided by architect Benedict O’Looney and the Hawkins\Brown project team, it explores three new riverside parks created above the Thames Tideway Tunnel. Starting at the Isle of Effra and ending at Bazalgette Embankment, the route reveals centuries of riverside history - including Doulton’s pottery works and their sewer connections - and showcases how architects, engineers and artists have transformed vital infrastructure into meaningful public spaces enriched with art, new views and places to connect.
