An evening of performance and story sharing about architecture, migration and belonging(s), told against Adíre House - The ‘Pavilion of Stories’.
These work in progress performances, starting with ‘The Suitcase’ , explore architecture, diasporic experience and how belongings hold memory of place and traces of the past - part of ongoing research by Sarah Akigbogun around architecture, women and race.
Sarah will be joined by local women performers. The audience are also invited to bring along an object that tells a story of belonging... An opportunity to share stories in words, drawings and objects, in a welcoming environment.
