Why is it easier to implement reuse in some countries than in others? Why do some individuals and communities succeed where others struggle? What conditions make reuse viable?
Join us for a conversation on historical preservation - not as a fixed time capsule, but as the ongoing adaptation of techniques, materials, and ideas.
Practices rooted in place shape identity and a sense of belonging, and can offer starting points for rethinking visions of the future.
The panel will look at what it takes to truly work with locally adapted materials - from traditional clay to emerging technologies such as 3D-printed concrete.
