Tanisha Raffiuddin (she/her)

Founder and Creative Director of Concept Culture

Tanisha Raffiuddin is an award-winning Founder and Creative Director of Concept Culture, and a Brand & Creative Strategist based in London. Tanisha founded Concept Culture out of a desire to combine her passion for placemaking and storytelling and advises clients on strategic branding for place brands and corporate brands within the built environment.

Tanisha is a trained architect with over 15 years of experience in the built environment sector. Her current storytelling practice sits at the intersection of architecture, sustainability, and communications, drawn from past experiences at AJ100 architectural firms working for clients like Blackstone and Legal & General, The Architects’ Journal, Wiley, the Sustainable Development Foundation, and the LDN Collective.

Tanisha is the host of the engaging Talking Place podcast – the podcast bringing placemakers and storytellers together to talk about place. Tanisha has travelled to over 101 countries, and all 7 continents (including Antarctica) and taps into her experience interacting with people and places across the globe to enrich her storytelling practice.

Tanisha is a vocal advocate of diverse women and women-led businesses in the built environment and has spent several years advocating as a steering committee member of Women in Architecture UK and National Association of Women in Construction. She is also a Creative Member of the LDN Collective; and an Executive Committee Member of the London chapter of the Lambda Alpha International (LAI) Land Economics Society.
