This tour offers a unique chance to experience first-hand how co‑design is shaping real urban change and to explore the spaces that are strengthening Wood Green’s cultural and creative identity and sense of belonging, such as Rising Green and Blue House Yard. It’s also an opportunity to understand the area’s placemaking approach and to hear directly from the officers leading this work.
The tour will be led by Stefania Pizzato, Placemaking Lead, and Antonio Rea, Regeneration Officer from Haringey Council. Together, they bring extensive experience in community‑led placemaking, meanwhile use, and delivering co‑designed public realm schemes across the area.

This is a 2.5hr walking tour, with various moments to pause, but not necessarily sit, so participants will need to be comfortable with this.
The walking tour is open to all and free (but ticketed). It will be taking place in the daytime and will be led by members of Haringey Council, who have led similar tours previously and know the area very well. We can confirm that step‑free access will be available throughout the tour route. All main stops, including Rising Green and Blue House Yard, are accessible for participants with limited mobility or wheelchair users.
