Designing playgrounds with the local community transforms standard play into something that serves the needs of its community - bringing people together, strengthening social ties, increasing its usability, fostering community ownership, and promoting multi-generational health.
Using their signature approach to consultation through hands‑on making and imaginative play, Unit 38 will lead activities where local communities can design, build, and make together, while skaters jam, DJs mix, and everyone enjoys an ice cream in the sunshine.
Bring your kids , and your inner kid, and help Alexandra Palace re‑envision a new playground that’s fit for purpose and fit for the times.
